Vibrating Pipes
|
| When you run the hot water in your house
do you get vibrating pipes. Run
the washing machine and pipes vibrate
Run the hot tap
Running a bath
Flush the toilet
Having a shower
Any of the above sounds familiar,
when you run hot or sometimes cold water your pipes vibrate loudly
until the hot water tank or cold water tank fill up again?
This was happening to me, really
annoying until I discovered what the problem was. |
The good news is that it only cost
a few pounds/dollars to fix it!
The problem started every
now and again and eventually every time the hot water tap was run the
vibration would start and the only way to temporarily solve it would be
run the cold water tap.
Why is it that when you buy a new washing machine or dishwasher that they
are quiet, after a few months they become noisy?
The problem...limescale!
Limsecale builds up in the pipes making them narrower and hence the
vibration of the pipes & noisy machines.
The cure?
Well if you believe the shopping channels then you can buy patented
technology modules that wrap a wire around the pipe that comes into your
home, you can buy these on ebay, however what they do is change the
polarity of the limescale, magnets are available on ebay which focus their
power on the centre of the pipe, works on rubber & metal pipes.
|
Did
you know that limescale left by hard water can increase
your fuel bills by up to £160 per year? Did you know
that limescale shortens the life of your boiler
and washing machine? Did you know that hard water
increases your use of detergents, fabric softeners,
shampoo, bath and shower products?

The technology,
these permanent magnets are
numerous times more powerful than
electrical products used to create a
magnetic fields and it has greater
potential to influencing the effect on
the water, it creates a positive
charge on the suspended calcium not
allowing it to deposit in the pipes,
in addition it will over time desolve
existing scale to the full extent
making your system free of scale.
These
magnets have no additional costs of
pipe fittings, power supplies
and remember the water service entry
to your property is the best place to
put your device, its not always in the
most convenient place and a power
supply next to mains water connections
is not a good practice, plus cutting
into water pipes for intrusive
devices under kitchen cupboard or
behind sanitary units can be a
nightmare.
Talking
of technology if you replace exiting
household bulbs with
led bulbs you can reduce your
lighting electric bill by 90%!

This works, I tried it
myself and within 2 weeks the pressure of the water in
my pipes increased and the vibrating pipes stopped!
